BEAT FAQ 🔮
An auto-renewable subscription is a type of In-App Purchase that allows BEAT to provide premium content or features for a specific period of time. This subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing cycle unless you choose to turn off auto-renewal.
Key points to know:
- Automatic renewal: Your subscription will automatically extend for the same period (weekly, monthly, or yearly) unless you disable auto-renewal.
- Payment: Your account (Apple ID or Google Play account) will be charged automatically for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Control: You can check and manage auto-renewal settings based on your preferences:
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Turn off auto-renewal.
- Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Select BEAT → Turn off auto-renewal.
- Cancellation: Turning off auto-renewal does not immediately cancel your subscription. You will retain access to premium features until the current billing period ends.
By understanding how auto-renewable subscriptions work, you can ensure your subscription aligns with your usage needs and budget, preventing unexpected charges.
If a user asks to "edit sizes", "capture the whole image", "resize photo", or "show full photo" within a reel:
- Acknowledge the Format: Explain that all templates in {{visitor.data.app-name}} are fixed at 9:16 (standard for Instagram Reels).
- Provide the Solution (Scale Tool): Do NOT say there is no manual tool. Instead, give these exact steps:
- "To adjust your photo to fit the frame, please tap the arrow ('Continue') in the top right corner to enter the editing screen."
- "Tap the specific clip you want to change."
- "The 'Scale' option will appear. Use it to pinch, zoom, or drag your photo to reposition it and capture the part of the image you want."
- Closing: "If you still can't see the Scale option, please send us a screenshot of your editing screen, and we will guide you further! 😊"
Sometimes, videos uploaded to Instagram may appear without music due to regional restrictions or licensing limitations on certain tracks. Instagram’s music library is not available equally in all countries, which can prevent some audio from playing when your video is uploaded.
How to resolve this issue:
- Turn on a VPN: Connect to a country where Instagram’s music library is fully accessible. This often restores the missing audio in your uploaded video.
- Re-upload your video: After enabling the VPN, try uploading the video to Instagram again.
- Contact Support if needed: If the music still doesn’t appear after using a VPN, reach out to our **Support chat **within the BEAT app. Our team will help investigate and provide further assistance.
Why this happens:
- BEAT uses licensed music that is available on Instagram/TikTok.
- Some tracks may be restricted in your region due to copyright laws or platform policies.
By following these steps, you can ensure your videos have the music you expect while staying compliant with platform rules.
Currently, BEAT does not allow adding your own music to videos. This limitation is due to copyright restrictions. All music available in the app is carefully licensed to ensure it can be legally used within Instagram and TikTok.
- Why this matters: Allowing users to upload their own tracks could violate copyright laws, which may result in muted videos or content removal on social media platforms.
- What you can do: You can still use the full library of licensed music in BEAT. Universal templates (marked with the ∞ symbol) include music that can be exported with your videos. For other templates, you can add music directly on Instagram or TikTok after sharing.
By using licensed music, BEAT ensures your videos are safe, compliant, and ready to share without any copyright issues.
If you manage multiple Instagram accounts, you can share your BEAT videos to any of them by following these steps:
- Switch accounts in Instagram: Open the Instagram app and switch to the account you want to post your video to. Instagram allows multiple accounts to be logged in on the same device, so make sure you select the correct one.
- Create your video in BEAT: Once the desired Instagram account is active, open BEAT and create your video using your chosen templates and media.
- Share to Instagram: Tap the “Share to Instagram” button in BEAT. The video will be automatically sent to the account that is currently active in Instagram.
Tips:
- You don’t need to log out of your other accounts; simply switch to the target account in Instagram before sharing.
- Always double-check the active account in Instagram to avoid posting to the wrong profile.
- Videos are saved locally to your device, so you can also manually upload them later if needed.
By following these steps, you can seamlessly manage and share your BEAT creations across multiple Instagram accounts without losing your work.
Videos created in BEAT are sometimes saved to your device without music due to copyright protection rules. Music included in our templates is licensed for use within Instagram and TikTok, but cannot always be exported directly in videos outside of these platforms.
- Adding music in Instagram: After saving your video, open Instagram and use the “Use Audio” feature to add the licensed track from Instagram’s music library to your Reel.
- Adding music in TikTok: Similarly, in TikTok, you can tap “Use this sound” to add the track while posting your video.
- Why it matters: This ensures that music rights are respected and prevents videos from being muted or blocked due to copyright issues.
By handling music this way, BEAT guarantees that your videos remain compliant with platform rules while still giving you full creative control to add audio when posting.
When you create a video in BEAT, it is automatically saved to your phone’s Gallery after you tap the “Share to Instagram” or “Share to TikTok” buttons in the app.
- No additional steps are required: The video will be stored locally on your device, so you can access it anytime, even without an internet connection.
- Format: Videos are saved in the standard 9:16 vertical format, optimized for social media platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok.
- Music: Depending on the template type you use, the video may be saved without music. This is because of platform licensing rules and copyright restrictions. For templates with licensed music (universal templates marked with the ∞ symbol), music will be included when you save.
The app offers two types of templates: Basic and Universal, each with unique features for usage and saving.
✔️ Basic Templates:
- Videos are automatically saved to your phone’s gallery without music after you tap ‘Share’ on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.
- You don’t need to publish the video on social media—it will still save locally.
- Since these templates use popular licensed music from social platforms, the video is exported without sound to comply with copyright laws.
- You can add music directly within Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.
✔️ Universal Templates:
- Videos are saved to your gallery with music when you tap the ‘Save’ button.
- These templates use licensed music that allows full audio export without restrictions.
- Universal templates are marked with the ∞ symbol.

If a user asks how to grant access to their photos or gallery, you must check the 'operating-system' field first. Do not provide instructions for both platforms at once.
1. For iOS Users (iPhone/iPad): Use this specific text: 'Please check your phone’s settings and make sure that you have allowed access to your photo gallery for BEAT. Without this permission, the app won’t be able to access your photos or videos for editing. You can update this by following these steps: Phone Settings → Search “BEAT” → Photos → Allow access Once the permission is enabled, please reopen the app and try again.'
2. For Android Users: Use this specific text: 'Please check your phone’s settings and make sure that you have allowed access to your photo gallery for BEAT. Without this permission, the app won’t be able to access your photos or videos for editing. You can update this by following these steps: Phone settings → Search “BEAT” → Permissions → Allow "Files and Media" Once the permission is enabled, please reopen the app and try again.'
General Rule: If the 'app-name' is not BEAT, replace the word 'BEAT' in the instructions with the actual app name found in the {{visitor.data.app-name}} field. If the platform is unknown, only then provide both options.

💬 AI Response Shortcuts (Magic Replies)
Option A (If a user says the app is "only paid" or "not free"):
"You can definitely use the app for free! When the subscription offer appears, simply tap the 'X' in the top-left corner to close it. This will take you to our library where you can explore and use our free templates."
Option B (Explaining the difference):
"Our app offers both free and Premium versions. While our Premium subscription unlocks over 400 professional templates and all advanced features, you can always use our free content by closing the initial offer using the 'X' icon in the top-left corner."
Currently, the option to create a custom template from scratch is not available in the app.
Our app is built on Beat-Sync technology. To ensure a professional result, each of our 400+ templates is manually calibrated by designers so that every transition, effect, and animation aligns perfectly with the specific rhythm of the music. To maintain this high level of precision, the templates are pre-set and cannot be modified manually at this time.
Please, note, BEAT is a powerful reel maker that creates exclusive short videos for Instagram/Tiktok. Due to Instagram/Tiktok policy and copyright, not all music can be used for Reals. Therefore, at the moment there is no possibility to add your own music.
