HOW DO I USE INPREVIEW?


Inpreview allows you to view your existing Instagram feed and curate content for future posts.


If you want to see your published posts within the app, you need to log in to Instagram through Inpreview. However, syncing with your Instagram account is optional, and you can start adding new photos and videos immediately from your phone’s gallery.


After tapping on any post, its settings will open:


  • To add a photo or video: tap the «+» button and select a file from your phone’s gallery or a specific album.
  • To replace a photo: tap the image and choose a new one from the bottom photo picker.
  • To delete a photo: select the post and tap Delete.
  • To rearrange posts in your feed: drag and drop scheduled posts to the desired position. You can also select multiple images and use the Swap option (for two photos) or Mix (for three or more photos) to combine them.
  • To hide a photo: select the post and tap Archive to temporarily remove it from the feed in the app. You can restore archived photos anytime by tapping the three dots in the top-right corner → Archive → select the desired posts → Return photo / Show all on profile.
  • To crop a photo: tap Crop and adjust the parameters as needed.
  • To split a photo into parts (Grid): select an image and tap Grid to divide it into multiple sections for a more striking layout.
  • To apply filters: tap **Filter **to adjust the style of your image.
  • To add captions and hashtags: tap Schedule, add text, and optionally use AI to generate ideas. You can also set a reminder for posting. If you log in with a professional Instagram account, the autoposting feature will also be available.
  • To save or share a post to Instagram: tap Share **and choose an option (Share to Instagram or **Save to Photos).
  • To undo or redo an action: use the Back **or **Forward arrows at the bottom of the screen.


**Please note: **images imported from Instagram cannot be edited or moved, as this would cause the feed to become unsynchronized with your account.


Additional app settings for easier planning:


✔️ Live Grid — helps prevent duplicate posts after publishing by automatically removing them from your feed.


✔️ Instagram Badge — marks photos that have already been published on Instagram.


✔️ Schedule Badge — shows icons on scheduled posts or posts with pre-filled information.




HOW DO I LINK MY INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT?


Inpreview offers two ways to log in to synchronize an Instagram account.


Method 1: Login via username (standard login)


Enter your username, and an automatic check will be performed. To log in successfully, make sure that:


✔️ Only allowed characters are used: Latin letters (A–Z, a–z), numbers (0–9), underscore (_), and dot (.). The dot (.) cannot be at the beginning or end of the username.

✔️ The username is 1 to 30 characters long.

✔️ There are no extra spaces between characters or at the end of the username.


If any of these conditions are not met, login will fail.


Method 2: Login via META Business login


This option is available for professional Instagram accounts. When entering the account name, an automatic check will also be performed. To log in successfully, make sure that:


✔️ You are logging in to a Business Account (if the account is personal, this login method will not be available, and you will be prompted to switch to a professional account).

✔️ You have entered the correct account credentials.

HOW DO I ADD AND SWITCH ACCOUNTS?


✔️ To add another account: tap your username at the top of the page and select New Project. Then log in to the account you want to add.


✔️ To switch between accounts: tap your username at the top of the page and select the project you want from the list of added projects.

With Premium access, you can manage multiple Instagram accounts simultaneously.




WHAT IS THE ARCHIVE SECTION?


This is the storage for all hidden posts that you can always access in the top right-hand corner by clicking on "3 dots". There, you can see all the posts that you've archived before and can easily restore them. 


✔️ To add a photo to the Archive, tap one or more posts and select the Archive option.

✔️ To restore a photo from the Archive, go to the “Archive” section (in the upper-right corner by tapping the three dots), select the desired posts, and use the Return photo or Show All on Profile option.



HOW DO I MOVE POSTS?


You can change the position of your posts in the following ways:


  • Drag and drop: press and hold a photo, then move it to a new position.
  • Swap: select 2 photos and tap the Swap option.
  • Mix: select multiple photos (3 or more) and tap the Mix option.


Make sure you are moving planned posts only. Published posts cannot be repositioned, as this would cause your feed to become unsynchronized with your Instagram account.




HOW DOES REVERT FEED WORK?


You can revert your feed in the app by tapping the three dots in the top-right corner and selecting this option.


Reverting the feed will permanently delete all planned photos and cannot be undone. In the same way, you can revert all scheduled Reels and Stories by switching between the corresponding tabs.



HOW DO I APPLY FILTERS?


Select an image and choose the Filter option from the toolbar to open the filter overlay screen. There, you can choose from over 100 filters, adjust their intensity, and configure their order and visibility.


To apply filters to the entire feed at once, open Filter Mode by tapping the three dots in the top-right corner.



HOW DO I ADD TEXT OR HASHTAGS TO A POST?


Select an image and choose the Schedule option from the toolbar to open the post editing screen. You can write the text and hashtags yourself or generate them using AI.



HOW DO I SCHEDULE A POST?


In our app, you can schedule your posts in advance.


✔️ At the time you set, you will receive a notification, after which you’ll need to open the app and publish the post manually.

✔️ If you use a professional account, the app supports automatic post publishing, so the post will be published at the specified time without any action required from you.


To schedule a post, open the desired publication and select the Schedule option in the toolbar. In the window that appears, specify the date and time. If you publish manually, make sure notifications are enabled — this way you'll receive a reminder at the scheduled time.



HOW DO I SHARE A POST TO INSTAGRAM OR MY GALLERY?


  1. Tap a post you want to share and select Share from the toolbar.
  2. Choose where to share it: Share to Instagram or Save to Photos.




WHAT IF I CAN'T SIGN IN TO INSTAGRAM?


Please review the potential errors and their solutions:


  • Errors when using the free plan:


✔️ Connect to a different network (for example, switch between mobile data and Wi-Fi).

✔️ Try turning on VPN. 

✔️ Check that the username you entered is correct (watch out for typos).


  1. Use only Latin letters (A–Z, a–z), numbers (0–9), underscore (_), and dot (.). The dot (.) cannot be at the beginning or end of the username.
  2. The username must be 1–30 characters long.
  3. Make sure there are no extra spaces between characters or at the end.


Close the error message and try logging in again, following the recommendations on the screen.


  • Errors when using the paid version:


✔️ "No users with the specified username found" — close the message and re-enter the username carefully.

✔️ "Unable to load posts" — try changing your network (switch between mobile data and Wi-Fi) and/or enable a VPN.


  1. “Unable to load posts” for users in Russia:


This error may occur if you try to log in from Russia, due to Instagram being blocked in the region.

Please, enable a VPN, refresh the feed, and log in to Inpreview again. It is also recommended to change your network connection (mobile data to Wi-Fi or vice versa).


  1. “Your Instagram account is private”:


If your account was changed from public to private after logging in to Inpreview, you may see this error. Tap Change type to open Instagram settings and make your account public again.


  1. Errors when logging in to a Business account:


If you use the Business login method but enter a personal account username, Inpreview will prompt you to switch the account type to a professional one during login.


  1. “Your Instagram permissions have been revoked…”:


If you removed Inpreview permissions in Instagram settings, close the message, log out of Inpreview, and log in again.


  1. “Unable to load feed…”:


If you switched your professional Instagram account to a personal one, you will need to either:


  • Tap “Log out” (if you do not plan to switch back), or
  • Tap “Got it” and switch the account type back to professional in Instagram settings.


If you still experience login issues, please contact our support team via the in-app chat or at support@onelightapps.io, and attach a screenshot or screen recording of the error.




WHAT IF MY INSTAGRAM FEED ISN'T DISPLAYED?


  1. Refresh your feed in Inpreview using the Refresh icon in the top-right corner, or pull the feed down.
  2. Log out of your account and try logging in again.
  3. Check that your Internet connection is stable.
  4. Try switching to a different network and refresh the feed.
  5. Try using a VPN.


If the feed still doesn’t display correctly, contact our Support Team via the in-app chat or at support@onelightapps.io, and attach a screenshot of your feed. We’ll help resolve the issue as soon as possible.



WHY AREN'T SCHEDULED POSTS PUBLISHED AUTOMATICALLY?


Automatic post publishing is available in our app. However, this feature works only if you are logged in with a professional account. At the scheduled time, the post will be published automatically without the need to open the app.


If you are using a personal account, you need to enable notifications. At the scheduled time, you will receive a reminder and will have to publish the post manually.



CAN MULTIPLE PEOPLE MANAGE THE SAME FEED?


Inpreview stores all data locally on a specific device to ensure security and privacy.


Therefore, multiple people cannot work on the same feed: your account information and content remain private and are accessible only on the device where they were created and scheduled.



CAN I USE THE APP ON DESKTOP?


Unfortunately, Inpreview is currently not available on desktop. The app has been specifically designed and optimized for iOS and Android to provide the best possible experience for planning, scheduling, and managing Instagram content on the go.


We understand that desktop access can be highly convenient for some users. While it is not available at this time, our team is constantly exploring ways to expand functionality and enhance the user experience. Desktop support may be considered in future updates as we continue developing the app.
